As followers of Christ, one of the most powerful witnesses we have is meeting the basic, “real world” needs of people.  Christ Jesus paid the ultimate price, and He asks us to “pay it forward” by lending a helping hand to those in need with His love and concern.

Through the kindness and generosity of No Heart Left Behind® sponsors and donors, we are able to reach out to those in need in various ways, helping them experience and share the joy of knowing they belong to God.

Some of our services include senior lawn care, food vouchers, and helping individuals and families in need through a program called “Adopt a Family.”  By  extending hospitality, we endeavor to share the hope and healing available through a relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Adopt a Family

Adopt a Family connects families in need with families who are willing to meet those needs. When unexpected events such as an injury, a serious illness, a jump in the monthly rent, spousal abuse, loss of employment, divorce, etc., occur in families, it can leave them not just financially strapped, but it can also leave them emotionally and spiritually bankrupt and in a state of hopelessness. It is the goal of this program for families “who have” to connect with families “in need” by being the hands and feet of Jesus. Our mission is to increase our capacity to assist families in their move from crisis towards self-sufficiency. By reaching out and offering encouragement and compassion, No Heart Left Behind® desires that families develop self-respect and dignity. Our long-term goal is that their lives will be transformed by giving them a hand up not a hand out by having  them learn how to  live according to the word of God while experiencing the love of Christ.

Assistance from our Adopt A Family program can take on many forms. It may include things like food vouchers, helping to pay utility bills, helping single Moms with car repairs and child care, worshiping with them on Sundays, or simply words of encouragement to let them know they matter to God.
